Video – Routine Shoe Shine
Recently over on the Styleforum Shoe Care thread, we’ve been having discussions about shoe shine videos. Some viewers feel the techniques aren’t modeling proper care for your leather goods. While others have pinpointed the sponsoring source of the video or the requirements of the event as the litmus for success (not long life of the shoe).
In response, we created a video to show our daily shine techniques. While we are a leather care company, we aim to not just sell our products, but to showcase practices that will further extend the life of your goods, while also showcasing their natural beauty.
Keep in-mind, nothing is maximized here: shoe type, depth of restoration, or even mirroring technique. This is routine care on an old pair of Johnston & Murphy Split Toe Derbies.
